The Stouffville Fusion Fest and Summer Jam are coming to Memorial Park this Saturday, July 15.
15 performers, 20 food vendors, and over 60 retail booths will fill the site, celebrating Mediterranean culture through food, music, dance, and art.
Concerts, games, contests, heritage dances, and a kid’s zone are also planned, ensuring fun for the whole family.
Bands will offer an exciting overview of the latest Mediterranean music scene, the event’s website explains. “The holistic line-up that our audience will get to enjoy spans from folk and blues to Italian pop music and Greek folk music, rock, hip-hop and much more.”
Headliners include Canadian dance artist Joee, singer and songwriter Armando, and Greek singer Michalitsa.
Among the authentic Mediterranean cuisine on offer, the event promises exotic desserts such as baklava, kourabiedes, and galaktoboureko, along with tiramisu, cannoli, and gelato.
