- Stouffville has hired Rob Braid as the Town’s Director of Leisure and Community Services.
- Braid was previously working for the Town of Newmarket, serving as their Director of Parks and Facility Services.
- “Rob brings a wide array of skills and experiences that align well with the Leisure and Community Services team,” Mayor Lovatt stated in a Town media release. “He offers a strong history of staff collaboration, development, and leadership.”
- Braid comes with over 20 years of municipal sector experience, which has included master planning processes, capital and operating budget development, and project execution and oversight.
- “I’m looking forward to building on the tremendous successes Stouffville has achieved over the last 12 months,” Braid said in the same release. “I couldn’t be more excited to join this creative team of professionals to help continue that momentum and assist with integral projects this year and beyond.”
- Braid starts in his new role on May 8, 2023.
