Initiated by Inter Milan FC, one of the world’s most recognizable football clubs, Inter Academy Toronto is a youth development program aimed at fostering local soccer talent.
“With the help of Inter Toronto Academy…Stouffville Soccer Club (DC) has the ability to reach new heights over the next few years,” proclaimed Stouffville SC President Corrado Panacci.
Through this new partnership, Stouffville SC looks forward to bolstering training and mentorship opportunities for local players and coaches.
“Inter Academy Toronto will help elevate the playing and coaching experience and bring the methodologies of one of the world’s biggest football clubs to Stouffville SC,” said Beniamino Perretti, Inter Academy Toronto President.
“Our recreational and competitive players…will learn so much from the new program enhancements,” Joe Ferraro, a Stouffville SC Director-At-Large, explained. “Our coaches and staff will receive some of the best coaching and mentorship the sport has to offer.”
Stouffville SC’s press release highlighted how the program can help local players “secure scholarships with colleges and universities,” while providing “true visibility for the potential to play soccer professionally.”
The two parties are also considering a series of week-long Inter Academy soccer camps hosted in Stouffville.
