- Mayor Iain Lovatt noted that raising the flag represented a path toward reconciliation for the Town.
- “Pride month brings our community together to celebrate the courage, history, and diversity of Stouffville’s 2SLGBTQIA+ communities,” said Mayor Lovatt.
- In past, Stouffville’s flag ceremonies took place at the Town offices on Sandiford Drive.
- While Stouffville remains proclamation-free, community organizations and groups may submit a request to fly their flag at the Community Flagpole.
