Gunfire prompted a rapid police response in a Stouffville neighbourhood early Thursday morning after multiple shots were fired at an occupied home.
The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. on July 23 in the area of Flute Street and Noah’s Farm Trail, drawing officers from York Regional Police and its Air Support Unit. Investigators had cleared the scene by approximately 9:30 a.m., though the investigation remains ongoing.
According to York Regional Police, a second-floor window of the home was damaged. Residents were inside at the time, but no injuries were reported.
