Movies in the Park returns to Stouffville’s Memorial Park this Friday, July 25, with Moana 2 as the feature film. The family-friendly screening marks the first of two dates in the Town’s annual summer series. A second showing, featuring Wicked, is scheduled for the evening of August 15.

The event opens at 7 p.m., with the movie beginning at sundown. Families can enjoy free face painting and a variety of food and deserts from local vendors. Mister Treats Ice Cream will be on-site, along with local favourite Christina Cooks, serving their signature stone-baked pizza, Italian sodas, and donuts.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs for seating. While parking is available in the lot across from Latcham Hall on Park Drive, the Town is encouraging those who are able to walk or bike to the event.

While the weather forecast is not currently predicting any rain on Friday night, the event will be rescheduled if necessary. Updates will be shared on the Town’s website and social media channels should any changes arise.
