- One took place near Reeves Way Boulevard and James McCullough Road, while another was reported at the north end of Durhamview Crescent.

Residents were awoken at around 3:30 a.m. by multiple gunshots fired at a residence in the area of Reeves Way Boulevard and James McCullough Road. Officers were on-site Tuesday morning collecting evidence, though the exact number of shots fired is still under investigation.
Another shooting occurred just before 1 a.m. near Durhamview Crescent and Greenforest Grove. As with the Reeves Way incident, multiple shots were fired at a residence; however, the investigation is ongoing to determine how many.
“Both incidents are believed to be targeted,” YRP Media Relations Officer James Dickson said in comments to Bullet Point News. “However, it is too early in the investigation to know if the two shootings are linked.”
YRP is appealing to any residents in these areas to check their video surveillance footage for vehicles present during and around these times. They are also interested in any video capturing individuals in the vicinity.
“As investigators are still in the area for both incidents, we are continuing to work to obtain suspects or suspect vehicles,” Dickson noted.
