Local planners have forecasted Stouffville’s population will reach 100,000 in 30 years.
Identified areas that can take this growth: Hwy 48 corridor, Tenth Line, Musselman’s Lake.
There are insufficient homes and infrastructure in the ground for the projected population growth so development to be phased.
There is allocation for water and waste water for the next 10 years where there will be another 15,000 to 18,000 people moving into in the above mentioned growth areas.
