• The U21 Stouffville Sharks Girls softball team hosted the Spring Showdown tournament at Memorial Park and Bethesda Park on Saturday, June 10.
  • Visiting teams from Markham, Richmond Hill, Forest Glade, Niagara Falls, Westport, Whitby, and Newmarket competed.
  • Stouffville fought hard through a triple-header day, but fell 6-7 to Newmarket, 6-7 to Whitby, and 4-9 to Niagara Falls.
  • Forest Glade took first place, followed by Whitby in second, Niagara Falls in third, and Richmond Hill in fourth.
  • The U21 Girls squad heads to Kitchener on June 24 for their next tournament.
