Thanks to the ongoing rainfall, Whitchurch-Stouffville Fire & Emergency Services (WSFES) has lifted the open-air burn ban in Stouffville.
Recreational fires and coal-fired BBQs are permitted once again, and all open-air burn permits have been reinstated.
Residents can also obtain new burn permits, as the issuance had been temporarily halted during the burn ban.
WSFES expressed gratitude to the community for their cooperation during the ban.
Residents can follow their Twitter account for related updates.
