Hiring Blitz Underway As Demand Grows For Stouffville Summer Camps

Summer camp participation grew by 60% in 2024, prompting the Town to increase staff numbers from 22 employees in 2023 to an expected 35 in 2025.

Fundraising contributions will support City Street Outreach’s fleet of vehicles key to its mission of aiding the GTA’s in-need populations.

Town Staff identified the move as a cost-saving measure expected to save more than $200,000 annually.

The announcement was made alongside her endorsement of Liberal Leader hopeful Mark Carney.

The project will combine major infrastructure overhauls with long-awaited Main Street reconstruction.
