- York Region Transit (YRT) is currently seeking feedback on a route change proposal for the #9 bus.
- The proposed route would add new service along Reeves Way, Millard, and Baker Hill.
- In order to do so, portions of Hoover Park, Highway 48, Ninth Line, and a small segment of Main Street would lose service.
- The new route would provide two-way service and slightly improve on frequency, reducing bus intervals by 3-10 minutes depending on the time of day.
- YRT is also evaluating the feasibility of adding Saturday service with this new change.
