- Steer Friends will host the 3rd annual “Steering for Steer Friends” Charity Car Show at the Markham Fair Grounds this Saturday.
- The event started as a casual weeknight affair and has grown to fill the four indoor buildings and the grounds of the Markham Fair.
- Thousands of spectators and over 500 classic and luxury cars will fill the Markham Fair Grounds while building community and raising funds for Steer Friends.
- Located in Stouffville, Steer Friends is a non-profit offering daytime programming for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities to inspire, empower, and enrich their lives.
- For 8 hours a day, Steer Friends provides personal and medical care alongside entertaining and interactive activities.
- The show promises to be a fun and entertaining event for the whole family. Admission is $10, and children under 16 are free.
- Entertainment will include a kids zone, the York Regional Police Motorcycle Demonstration, York Regional Fire Department conducting practice extractions from burning vehicles, and Special Guest Dave Kindig from Motortrend TV.
- Chuck’s Roadhouse, Eatzza Ma Pizza, Mr. Treas Ice Cream, Ono Poke Bar, The Lion’s Markham Fair booth, and Little Lou’s Hot Dog on Wheels will be serving up meals on site.
- The event starts at 9:00 a.m. at 10801 McCowan Road on June 24.
