- Working with Vertex One and Neptune Technology Group Canada Co., Stouffville will soon initiate a portal for real time water usage monitoring.
- The Town’s new Water Watch Portal will go live May 29 with the goal of catching leaks early and avoiding costly water bills.
- The portal will also allow residents to set and receive leak alerts, view and compare historical usage data, and access account information.
- “The portal provides real-time data on your water usage, which will help you to identify any areas of concern and make changes to reduce your water consumption,” the Town’s press release said.
- Residents with new Neptune water meters can register via their email address to access the portal online.
- This program is part of the Town’s already budgeted Water Meter Replacement Program, coming at no new cost.
- Residents can find more information on the Water Watch Portal here.
