Sunny Bains comes with over 19 years of municipal management experience.
Prior to assuming the role of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Baines has been serving as Stouffville’s Leisure and Community Services Director.
“Bains has successfully delivered on a number of important construction projects, implemented integral policies and plans, and has brought large-scale, award-winning events to Stouffville,” the Town’s press release stated.
Bains will be formally appointed at the April 5 Council meeting.
“[Sunny] has demonstrated immense growth and leadership, and Council is excited to have him in this new role,” Mayor Lovatt said.
