- It’s the Stouffville Stars vs. the Food Bank All-Stars, with NHL legend and Councillor Keith Acton dropping the puck at 7:30 pm.
- Each player is raising funds independently to see which team can bring the most support to the Foodbank. Residents can donate to their campaigns online via CanadaHelps.org.
- Stouffville resident Sam Daskalopoulos has been organizing these events since 2017, raising over $56,000 for local charities.
- “Sam has been very successful raising funds through Scoring Goals For The Community,” Anand Daté, Co-Chair of the Whitchurch Stouffville Foodbank, said. “We are both thrilled and grateful to have been chosen for this year’s event.”
