Kiera Colligan, a 13-year-old student at Stouffville Christian School, claimed two championships at the Trilogy Combined Test Series Grand Championships last weekend.
The competition, hosted at Sunnymead Farms in Omemee, showcased Colligan’s talents in both the Novice Junior and Pre-Entry Junior divisions.
Of particular note was Colligan’s outstanding achievement in the Pre-Entry Junior division, where she competed against older teenagers.
Colligan trains under the guidance of mentor and coach Terri-Lynn Hughes at Fairly Big Farm in southwest Uxbridge, who has played an instrumental role in her success.
Banjo, Colligan’s horse, proved to be a steadfast partner throughout the event, a testament to the dedication and hard work invested in their joint training.
The Trilogy Combined Test Series challenges riders in equestrian disciplines such as dressage and show jumping.
