• StateView Homes has put forward a concept for 206 townhouses with at-grade parking at York Durham Line and Bethesda.
  • The Elm & Co. parcel is currently farmland, however it sits within the official settlement area of the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan which allows for new housing development.
  • While adjacent to the Old Elm Station area that will see significant intensification, Daniel Ciccone, StateView’s CFO, stated there is no intent to increase housing densities within their proposal.
  • Ciccone estimates their development application will be submitted to the Town in four weeks, and the public can begin commenting on the proposal soon after.
