York Region Transit (YRT) will soon introduce On-Request Gormley, providing riders with on-demand service between three locations in the Gormley area:
Richmond Green Public Library for transfers to and from Route 90 – Leslie
Honda Boulevard/YRT Stop 6166 for transfers to and from Route 24 – Woodbine
Gormley GO Station
This new service will operate Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Riders can schedule On-Request rides using the YRT’s On-Request App or by calling (844) 667-5327.
Regular fares apply with transfers remaining valid for two hours. A map of the expanded Gormley service area has been provided below.
School Special Updates:
Stop 6936 at Hoover Park and York Durham Line will be relocated 50 meters west and added to the Route 415 Stouffville District School Special in the afternoon.
In addition, Stop 6936 will be included on Route 414, the St. Katherine Drexel School Special Route, in the mornings.
These service changes will take effect on April 28, 2024.
