Starting January 15, 2024, York Region Transit (YRT) Mobility On-Request service can be booked within the Stouffville service area through their YRT On-Request App.
The app is free of charge and can be downloaded via the App Store or Google Play.
The service provides as-needed trips to or from five locations in Stouffville:
No Frills at 5887 Main Street
Stouffville GO Station at 6176 Main Street
Stouffville’s Leisure Centre at 2 Park Drive
East Corners Plaza Shoppers Drug Mart at Tenth and Main
Walmart at 1050 Hoover Park Drive where travellers can transfer to YRTs Route 9 bus service
Your ride can begin or terminate at an address within the Stouffville On-Request service area, which can be seen on the map below.
On-Request service is available only on weekdays between 10 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. and between 7 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Standard YRT fares apply.
Trips are on a first-come, first-served basis, travel distances must be 500 meters or longer, and your ride may be shared with others.
