- Hannah (11), Megan (17), and Ella (14) Brewster started their taekwondo journeys at Stouffville Taekwondo Karate.
- What started as an after school activity evolved into dedicated practice, high performance competition, and participation at international tournaments.
- “You learn a lot of discipline in the sport, and it helps keep your mind focused,” Ella Brewster told Bullet Point News in a recent interview available below.
- The three sisters are headed to the Dominican Republic with Team Canada to compete in the Pan American Cadet and Junior Championships on April 22.
- “I wouldn’t think, from when I started, that I’d be representing Canada at tournaments,” Ella told us. “I feel really proud of myself.”
- Hannah is excited to join her sisters for her first experience on Team Canada, and she’s ready: “I really like getting metals,” she proclaimed.
- Megan is also competing at the World Taekwondo Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, in May.
- “I feel really honoured and grateful for the opportunity to go to these places,” Megan said.
