• The Stouffville Spirit are preparing for their 2023-2024 season home opener against the Aurora Tigers on September 9.
  • Thanks to the Spirit supporters over at Farmer Jacks, free tickets have been made available to the public.
  • Residents can pick up tickets at the Whitchurch Stouffville Public Library or Boston Pizza while supplies last.
  • Boston Pizza has just under 100 tickets still available as of time of publishing on Thursday, August 24.
  • Opening night offers more than great hockey, with The Muffin Men Band kicking off the evening with an outdoor concert at 7 p.m.
  • The Lions Club of Stouffville will also be in attendance providing children’s activities, and local favourites Dave and Sarah will perform the national anthem.
  • Proceeds from the 50/50 draw will help support the 2023 Stouffville Terry Fox Run.
  • The Spirit are also hosting a preseason exhibition match against Haliburton County tonight.
  • The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. at the Stouffville Arena on Ninth Line.
