• Stouffville is gearing up for an event-packed weekend with the much-anticipated Ribfest and Antique & Classic Car Show.
  • Stouffville Ribfest, the Town’s signature summer event, gets cooking this evening starting at 4 p.m.
    • The festival runs through the weekend, closing each night at 10 p.m. Gates will open at 12 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
    • Four ribbers—Fat Boys, Uncle Sam’s, Mississippi Smokehouse, and Sticky Fingers—will serve up mouthwatering ribs, chicken, pulled pork, and more. Payment is cash only.
    • Astro Amusements will bring a lively midway to Memorial Park, featuring rides and games for the entire family.
    • Craft beer and other beverages will be available, nine food trucks will be on-site, and 11 vendors will fill the Ribfest Marketplace. .
    • A full lineup of music and entertainment acts will grace the Memorial Park bandstand stage throughout the weekend.
  • The Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre’s 51st Annual Antique & Classic Car Show rolls in on Sunday, August 11.
    • The show is the Town’s longest running event and takes place in Vandorf Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • 400 vehicles will be featured, including an assortment of vintage police cars.
    • It will also include activities for kids, food vendors, contests, music, and other performances.
