• Dan Mangan, a two-time JUNO Award-winning and two-time Polaris Music Prize-nominated musician and songwriter will perform at the Wintersong Music Festival in Stouffville on Friday January 20 at 9 pm.
  • Dan’s primary goal is to remove the pedestal of the stage and break down barriers, which gives the audience the permission to be vulnerable like the performers, and that’s when you get a show where “the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts.”
  • For Dan, being on stage is where he feels most connected to people and himself.
  • The message he likes to convey in his music is that caring is okay; there is strength in vulnerability; the more connected we feel to each other, the more empathy in the world, and the less fear there is.
