Nasif Chowdhury is 19 years old, and is a member of the Canadian senior men’s sitting volleyball team, and a member of Team Ontario Wheelchair Basketball U23.
He is so passionate about sitting volleyball that he says there is an exciting aspect even to losing a game! Seeing the talented players who beat his team motivated him and his team to be better, which led to their victory.
Nasif will be teaching Stouffville residents how to play sitting volleyball on Sat. Jan. 7 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Leisure Centre.
