• Local planners have forecasted Stouffville’s population will reach 100,000 in 30 years.
  • Identified areas that can take this growth: Hwy 48 corridor, Tenth Line, Musselman’s Lake.
  • There are insufficient homes and infrastructure in the ground for the projected population growth so development to be phased.
  • There is allocation for water and waste water for the next 10 years where there will be another 15,000 to 18,000 people moving into in the above mentioned growth areas.
