• Popular Stouffville band Revcall is bringing it home this Saturday night for a concert at the Earl of Whitchurch Pub.
  • Also known as The Rock and Roll Train, the band features lead vocalist and guitarist Christopher “Norm” Normandeau, bass player and background vocalist Jeff Normandeau, lead guitarist Alex Perin, and drummer Jason Casaubon.
  • The four musicians formed Revcall five years ago. The name is a salute to Reverend Daniel Call, who taught young Jack Daniel to operate a still and produce whiskey.
  • Their all original rock and roll is rooted in blues and country, offering catchy hooks and contagious lyrics.
  • “We’ve gained a bit of a reputation for engaging audiences with our high-energy performances, filled with our signature style of classic rock with a southern edge, choreographed high kicks, and comedic banter,” Norm told Bullet Point News.
  • Calling it the town’s unofficial anthem, Revcall’s newest single, “Stouffville Saturday Night,” was released this Monday and is available on most streaming services. It follows the recent release of their self-produced EP titled “Blood, Sweat, and Beers Vol. 2.”
  • The band has been performing across Ontario for the past few years and is excited to produce a show in their hometown. Long-time Stouffville residents may recognize the Normandeau brothers as past Stouffville Clippers hockey players.
  • They hope the community will come out for a fun night as they transform the Earl into a top-notch music venue, offering a true concert experience that is local, affordable, and hassle-free.
  • Revcall has also teamed up with other local organizations, including Around the Net Hockey, Muddy York Brewing Co., the Revolution Radio Canada “Canadian AF” podcast, and, of course, the Earl of Whitchurch Pub.
  • The evening will include plenty of new merchandise and prize giveaways, and Graham Unsted, GM of Markham’s School of Rock, will open the show.
  • Everything kicks off at 8 PM this Saturday, November 25, at the Earl of Whitchurch Pub, located at 6204 Main Street.
