Ryan O’Dell Says the Stouffville Spirit Can Handle Playing One of the Top Junior Canadian Teams

It’s 19-year-old Ryan O’Dell’s first time in the playoffs and he says “The energy’s up. It’s really amazing.”
“Throughout the regular season, it’s good,” says O’Dell. “But when you get into the playoffs, that’s when the energy is really there and that’s when the fun really starts.”
O’Dell says it’s challenging to play one of the top Canadian teams but the Stouffville Spirit can handle it.
He stays positive during a game by seeing the good side and thinking, “They may be up 1-2, but we just need to get one goal to tie it and then go from there. Just take it one step at a time.”
