Complaints over driver behaviour at pick-up and drop-off remain high across Stouffville schools.
The Town has deployed by-law officers to maintain safety, limit discord, and avoid traffic complications.
“Everyone has busy schedules, but disregarding Town by-laws during pick up and drop off can lead to chaos and puts the safety of our children at risk,” Glenn Jackson, Town Spokesperson, told Bullet Point News.
Officers shift locations to meet different drop-off and pick-up times across town.
Parents and guardians should give themselves adequate time, follow the rules, and be patient to keep kids safe and avoid tickets.
“We appreciate the support of our residents in contributing to the safety of our schools and community,” Jackson said.
